Eastern Surfaces to Host CSI Allentown’s Annual Plant Tour and Monthly Meeting
New State of the Art Facility to be Showcased–
Eastern Surfaces is excited to host the Allentown Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) for their upcoming monthly meeting and annual plant tour on October 21, 2009. Only two facilities a year are bestowed this honor.
Eastern Surfaces will treat CSI Allentown members to a plant tour which will include a presentation on digital templating and a demonstration of the fabricating process for eco-friendly products including ECO by Cosentino, IceStone and Paperstone solid surface. Eastern Surfaces will then accommodate CSI Allentown’s monthly board meeting and dinner.
The keynote speech “Going Green: An Architectural event featuring “ECO” by Cosentino recycled surfacing” will be given by Peter Zbytniewski of Cosentino. The event will include a tour of the Eastern Surfaces facility, presentation on digital templating, demonstration of fabricating ECO by Cosentino, IceStone and Paperstone solid surface. Attendees will also receive two AIA/CEU credits for (1) Understanding Quartz Surfacing and (2) Eco by Cosentino.
The CSI Allentown Chapter promotes the education between professionals and industry members and the built environment. CSI Allentown advances the process of creating and sustaining the built environment for the benefit of the construction community by using the diversity of its members to exchange knowledge.
